This resource contains 20 picture-based tasks for the new French GCSE (first exams 2026), complete with model answers. It is a downloadable resource, in both Word Document and PDF formats.
Covering all of the possible topic areas for the new Edexcel French GCSE (see accompanying photo of the contents list for details), I have carefully selected a range of photos that showcase diversity and inclusion, from royalty-free websites, such as Pixabay, Unsplash (and Unsplash+), and Nappy.co.
In the model answers, I have only used vocabulary that is included in the prescribed vocab list for Foundation, to ensure that students can practise using the key language needed for this GCSE.
